That particular white core hound one is The Kurken and can be found on Bloodmyst Isle up in the Draenei area. He lives in the tunnels where the Stillpine Furbolgs are. There's a quest to kill him and one of the quest rewards are to have "Kurkenstocks" made from his hide *insert groan here*. He's only level 22, but of course you have to have 51 points in Beast Mastery to tame him.

There are orange and green core hounds as well - the green ones roam around in Outlands (Shadowmoon Valley and Blade's Edge) while the orange ones are found in the Molten Core instance only. My main NELF hunter on Bronzebeard, Linaya, has an orange core hound appropriately named Pumpkin. =) If you'd like to meet him, shoot me a line and I'll happily show him off in Stormwind sometime.
